Tylee's Baptizm

Tylee was baptized on March 1st, she was so excited to get to be baptized but she was more excited that her dad was going to be the one to do it. She is the first one of our girls that Tim has baptized and he was so honored to be able to do that for her. We had been talking to Tylee about what it means to be baptized and what she thinks about it. Tim really wanted to make sure she understood the meaning of it and to make sure she was ready. On the day of her baptism I was asking her if she understands what it means to be baptized and before she could say anything Taegan said, "it means all her sins will be washed away", it was cute, she can't wait until her dad gets to baptize her too.
I am so grateful for my family, and I am blessed to have such a loving and caring dad for our girls. Tim keeps us all in line and always brings the spirit into our home. We are proud of you Tylee and we love you so much.

Bubble's Basketball Awards

It's a little late to post this but I needed to get updated. These are some pictures from Toni's Basketball Awards Banquet. She had a fun season playing this year, the girls and boys that are in 8th grade that has played their 7th and 8th grade years got to go to Pismo Beach as a reward so she liked that and this will probably be her last year playing basketball because it will interfere with soccer season.

Toni has a nickname that she got from the beginning of basketball season and now most all of her teacher call her "Bubbles". She said her stomach hurt during one of her practices and that she had gas pains. She told them it was like a big bubble but it was really hurting. Every since then they called her Bubbles. They even sang Happy Birthday to Bubbles over the intercom on her birthday. I told her they only do that because they like her, she's lucky she has such great teachers. She said she will really miss them when she goes to high school. She got the Coaches AwardThis is Toni with her friend Dolly showing off their awards and their medals they got for playing the past 3 years.

Tylee's Birthday Slideshow!

Happy Birthday Tylee !!!

You are growing up so fast and getting cuter everyday. You turned 8 years old today and it seems like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms. You were always such a good baby and so happy. Toni and Tori loved having a new baby around so you were defiantly spoiled. As you got older, you wouldn’t go to sleep unless you were laying on someone’s chest and they would have to pat your back until you fell asleep. If dad or I was busy then often Toni and Tori would fight over which one of them got to hold you to put you to sleep. It was so cute because your legs went down past Toni’s knees and you were almost as big as Tori. Now, you are always wanting to please everyone, helpful around the house, loving and caring, and very nurturing when I’m sick you never leave my side. We know that Heavenly Father has blessed us when you came into our lives. Turning 8 years old also means you can get Baptized, we know that you have been looking forward to that and dad can’t wait until he gets to baptize you. We are so proud of you, and we love you very much.
Happy Birthday!

Winter Formal

South Fork Middle School has a dance they call Winter Formal when the kids get to dress up in more semi formal and have a fun night when they announce the King and Queen for 8th grade, Prince and Princess for 7th grade, and Duke and Duchess for 6th grade. Toni was crowned Queen and Jimi was crowned Duchess. The kids have a lot of fun and its always a big deal leading up to the day of with the girls because of picking out just the right dress. We went dress shopping for Toni and its impossible to find anything modest. Thanks to our friend Angie, who had offered to alter any dress we buy to make it a little more modest we finally settled on one after a long day of looking. We ended up buying a dress with spaghetti straps that was a little too short with Toni's long legs. The dress price was only $25.00 and everything else we looked at was at least $50.00 so I decided to buy 2 of the same dress so that I didn't have to try and match material for alterations. So Angie pieced the 2 dresses together and added to the length and made wider straps and she did a good job.
Thank you Angie for all your help!
