We had our whole family together to have pictures taken and there were so many to choose from that I had a hard time deciding which ones to put on the blog. I changed some of the coloring on a few of them so I just decided to post those too! This is my mom with all 22 of her grand kids!

Taegan's First Game of the Season!

Our day started off with the banner parade at 7:00am.
Then pictures were taken for this age group and they were nice enough to let us take pictures with our own camera even though I bought them anyway. Taegan loved the way they posed her!
Then while we waited for the rest of her team to have their pictures taken she decided she wanted more pictures of her so she struck a few posses for me!
Then finally to the game. This year was totally different than last year for Taegan. This morning before the game I asked her if she knew how to play soccer and she said yeah, you kick the ball in the goal! So then I asked what she does if the other team has the ball and she told me you kick the ball away from them then kick it in the goal! That works for me, now just do it! Last year she ran around the field but really didn't care about what she was doing she was just having fun. This first game, she told me she had to score one goal for grandma because she promised her that she would. So I thought, that's great one goals fine with me as long as she's trying. Well, I don't know what came over her but she dominated the field, she scored five goals. After the fourth one the coach started kicking the ball away from her when she was heading for the goal so that some of the other kids would have a chance. She would score and then walk back to the middle of the field trying not to crack a smile but you could see she really wanted to, she was so excited! It was defiantly more fun to watch her first game this season than it was watching her last year. Taegan is the one with the ball in the gold in both of these pictures!

First Soccer Games of the Season!

Soccer begins and our life ends! With all four girls playing we live, eat, and breath soccer for the next four months. It such a crazy schedule between games, practices, church callings, homework, and school that we rarely have time to sit down to eat dinner together. Tim is usually running a couple of the girls to practices while I'm home with the other two helping with homework, working on laundry (which is never ending), and getting dinner ready. I try to get Tylee and Taegan fed and into bed before Tim gets home with Toni and Tori, then they grab a quick bite, start homework, then off to bed to start all over again! Some days I feel so bad for Toni, she is constantly going. She's up at 5:00am, leaves at 6:00 for seminary, then off to school, doesn't get home from school until a little after 4:00pm, then barley has time to walk in the door and get her stuff together so Tim can get the girls to practice or if she has a game then she is picked up from school at 3:00 and off to Bakersfield or somewhere else for her game. By the time she gets home its 8:30 and sometimes even later. I guess as long as she wants to do it and can keep up with all her school work and still get good grades then if she's happy, I'm happy! I'm not sure about Tim because he's the one that does most of the running! It's always fun in the beginning but by the end of the season, we ALL can't wait for it to be over!

The first 3 pictures are of Toni, she is in the orange #6
These 3 pictures are of Tori in the green #3

These last 3 pictures are Tylee in blue #6

Taegan's season begins a little later than the other girls so her pictures will be posted after her first game!
