We picked Taegan up early from school on Friday to head to Camp Wilderness for the weekend, and found out that she had two cards pulled before 11:00 in the morning. What happened to my shy Taegan? For those of you that don't know, getting a card pulled is not a good thing. When one of the kids do something their not suppose to be doing they get a warning and if they do it again then the teacher will pull one of their cards. None of our girls have ever had a card pulled or got in trouble at school before and now there's Taegan getting into trouble twice in one day in her second week of kindergarten. So now today because she left early on Friday she will have detention. I have been trying to explain to her what that means and that she won't be able to go to recess because of the cards she had pulled on Friday now she will sit on the wall instead of playing with the other kids. I am hoping she learns her lesson, but I also feel bad for her because she gets her feelings hurt so easily when she get yelled at or is made to have timeouts. She will probably sit there the whole time and cry. Maybe after this she will learn to listen to her teacher!
